Watershed Music Festival
Another year of the Watershed Country Music Festival is in the books and it did not disappoint! This weekend is becoming a traditional event for me to spend with my cousin. With both of a busy lives this is a rare and special time. If you have never attended a concert at the Gorge Amphitheater, I would suggest putting it on your bucket list! The views from this venue are gorgeous and the sound quality is great! Outdoor concert venues are, by far, my favorite and this is one of the best!
This years lineup was great! Friday night we saw Michael Ray, Kip Moore, Chris Young and Miranda Lambert. They all sounded great and put on amazing performances! I have seen Chris Young before and he always puts on a great performance. He is one of those artists that I am always surprised by how many of their songs I actually know.
This was my first time seeing Miranda Lambert in concert and I wasn’t sure what to expect. I thought her vocals were right on and she showed some good personality as well!
I thought that Saturday had the best energy of the weekend. Cody Johnson got the crowd going and then Midland, Brother Osborne and The Zac Brown Band kept things rocking all night long My feet were quite sore from dancing and my voice paid the price as well. We had a great time and the mood continued back to the RV after the show, where we may have stayed up a little too late!
Somehow on Sunday we mustered up the energy to do it one more time. We started the day with Cam, next came Maren Morris, followed by Kane Brown, and the headliner for the day was Jason Aldean. Everyone put on an amazing performance and as tired as I was they kept me energized all night. I was so excited to Jason Aldean and he did not disappoint!
I am happy to say I have fully recovered from the weekend that contained too little sleep and too many libations. I can’t wait to see who will be performing next year and look forward to making more memories with my cousin!
Cheers!
