I always know spring has officially arrived when outdoor events start happening at our favorite wineries. This weekend was the first of the year! We attended the spring wine club party for Gilbert Cellars. Their venue at Hackett Ranch is just beautiful. You will see posts from here throughout the summer since they have an amazing concert series.

Let’s start by discussing the food. Crafted created the charcuterie board (table) of my dreams. It was ALMOST too beautiful to eat. It has inspired me to up my game this summer! The food tasted just as good as it looked, and that is saying something.

Now we must talk about the wine. They were serving their amazing rose, their chardonnay, my go to house wine, Left Bank, and if you like a nice peppery red I highly recommend their Chukar Carmenere. It was a great selection and offered something for everyone.

All of this was completed with great conversations with people I don’t get to see enough. There were people there I haven’t seen in years as well as friends that I never seem to get enough time with.

All and all it was a little chilly, but a great start to the outdoor season at the wineries. Thank you Gilbert Cellars for yet another amazing event. You always make us feel loved and apricated.
