Elaina Moon: Healthy Eats Nutrition Services
Today’s amazing woman is someone I met years ago through our love of food and cooking. Elaina Moon and I first crossed passed in cooking classes at Le Maison. We both love experimenting with food and developing our cooking skills.
A few years ago Elaina and I reconnected as she was starting her nutrition coaching business. I am happy to say I was her first client! Elaina helped me plan menus and push myself out of my comfort zone when it comes to food. She has amazing plant based recipes that were so new to me. Not to mention I just loved meeting with her once a week.
Elaina’s business quickly added cooking classes which are so much fun. It is great to learn how to make these plant based recipes and then get to try them out. In July she will be opening a brand new location for her cooking classes, so make sure to follow her to learn more!
When I chose Elaina as one of my amazing women I couldn’t help but ask if we could make something together. We made a smoothie bowl as I interviewed her. It was so good, and who doesn’t like their food to be this beautiful!
I asked Elaina what he biggest fear was in starting her business. No surprise, her fear was the one so many of us have, failure. What if no one wanted this service.
She said that the one thing that helped in this was that initially she had very little overhead. She is definitely a smart business woman. She has been growing steadily, but not so fast that she makes foolish mistakes.
Her most unexpected surprise was the cooking classes. They weren’t a part of her initial plan, but have been such a success. It has been fun watching the community that has formed through them.
When Elaina is not working on her business family is very important to her. Her husband has been so supportive in this journey. She also loves time outdoors. Nature is that place that allows her to slow down and really enjoy life.
I know that life has many exciting new adventures for Elaina. I am just glad she has been in my life to inspire me to take my own risks and go on my own adventure.
Cheers!
